Desta vez, trouxe consigo uma versão de <strong>“Lovesong”, dos The Cure</strong>, e o resultado é mais do que uma homenagem, é uma tradução emocional para o universo indie.</p>



<p>A letra, escrita por Robert Smith como uma declaração à mulher com quem partilhou décadas, ganha aqui nova vida na voz de Ruby, que canta como quem escreve de novo, a partir da sua geração e das suas feridas.</p>

<p>Há uma simplicidade na versão: guitarra, textura vocal, quase nenhuma produção desnecessária que devolve à canção o que ela tem de mais essencial: a entrega. É nesse registo que Ruby Fields brilha. Não por querer transformar o que já está feito, mas por saber ficar dentro da canção, sem pressa, deixando que a emoção respire por si.</p>
