[Worth Listening to]  Bela Noia com Edgar Valente – Meu amor quando eu morrer

A Bela Paranoia surge como um ponto de não retorno no percurso de Bela Noia. Um disco que começou a desenhar-se ainda antes de Os Miúdos Estão Bem e que ganha agora corpo como o primeiro trabalho inteiramente pensado, escrito e assumido pelos quatro elementos da banda. Há aqui uma mudança subtil mas decisiva: deixa de haver apenas canções reunidas num álbum e passa a existir uma obra consciente de si própria, do seu peso e das suas consequências.

O universo de A Bela Paranoia começa a revelar-se com o lançamento do single duplo “Meu amor quando eu morrer” / “Epitáfio (lembrança de um final)”, duas canções que funcionam como portas de entrada para o que o disco propõe. “Meu amor quando eu morrer” nasce a partir de um verso de Fausto Bordalo Dias e transforma-se numa reflexão íntima sobre amor, despedida e cuidado possível perante a dor.

Pedro Vieira explica que a letra começou a ganhar forma ainda nos tempos de faculdade, em noites marcadas pela escuta atenta de Fausto e de outros gigantes, quando aquela frase: “Meu amor quando eu morrer” abriu um espaço imaginário para pensar o que ficaria por dizer aos mais próximos no momento final.

“Epitáfio (lembrança de um final)”, com a participação de Edgar Valente, surge como o contraponto necessário. Mais do que uma segunda canção, funciona como um prolongamento emocional.

Destaque no álbum, que sairá a 27 de março, para temas como: “Ainda te canto ( são só palavras)”, “À guerra, não há paz” e “Ninguém quer saber de nós”, num álbum que merece audição atenta.
